advocare 24-day challenge time

After a rough holiday season (including a move) I am ready to get back on track with my food and exercise. I thought it would be a perfect opportunity for my next 24 Day Challenge from Advocare.

What I like about the challenge is that you are eating real, nutritious food. Below is what I ate on my first day of the challenge.

Day 1 Menu:

Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs with an apple

Snack: Apple

Lunch: Salad with tomatoes, carrots, leftover pork, and avocado.

Snack: Almonds

Dinner: Grilled chicken breast with roasted potatoes and carrots

Plus plenty of water

I am hoping that this challenge will help get me back on track with eating healthier and getting ready for my upcoming wedding. I’ve gained a little bit of weight between the move and the holiday season and I want to get back to where I was pre-holiday (and maybe even get a bit ahead).
