advocare recipe: pumpkin spice breakfast mug cake

I will be the first to admit that there are too many pumpkin things come this time of year.

Sadly, most of them are not exactly waistline friendly (I’m looking at you, Pumpkin Spice Lattes).

I was really excited when Advocare launched their new seasonal Meal Replacement Shake, Pumpkin Spice. And then I had an idea…

Why not try a mug cake? And so, without further ado…

Advocare Pumpkin Spice Breakfast Mug Cake

Serves 1

Ingredients:

Mix together the Meal Replacement Shake and the water until it forms a cake-batter like consistency. Pour into a microwave-safe mug. Make sure that there is plenty of room for the cake to expand while cooking. Microwave on high for 90 seconds. Let cool and enjoy! I spread a little natural peanut butter on mine for an extra treat.
